Moissac. MCBB: Mid-season review time for U18 girls

This year the U18 team consists of eight players (Roxane, Ibtesam, Farza, Lucille, Louna, Farah, Sarah-Morgane and Maëlyn) but the group is completed by Aiya Kelly and Eva, two players who improved in the Saturday matches. to the elderly.

The girls recall the memory of young club player Eléna, who left too soon after a car accident. Following this event, this season’s struggles are merely anecdotal; The goal is, above all, to have fun.

All U18 F train on Wednesdays and some also attend Tuesday training with the senior national group. The training is done by Delphine and the girls are coached by Youssef Zaïda in the Saturday matches.

This season, students are playing in the interdepartmental championship. This championship is very homogeneous because after five matches played, five teams, including MCBB girls, were drawn with three wins and two losses. The challenge this season is to continue the training of students so that they can integrate into the senior group in the short or medium term.

Also, as the club has done for several seasons, in the last year the U18 players regularly join the senior 2 teams to gain a little more experience of the game and find themselves up against slightly more experienced players.

The MCBB girls are investing match after match without pressure and slowly improving.

Good luck for the rest of the season!
