Pride. Tennis: competitions have resumed

On 17 December, the penultimate day of the Cathar Challenge, a team competition (seniors) organized by the Tarn Tennis Committee, took place.

Four teams from the Mazamétain Country Tennis Club Association were on the courts for this day before the break. The APM 1 men’s team (Division 1) won the TC Saint-Sulpice with a score of 4 to 2, thanks to four singles victories from Arnaud Colombié, Victorien Affre, Célian Maynadier and Hugo Sabaté. This victory allowed the pennant team to take 2nd place in their group, just behind AS Pierre Fabre. The next and last day is Sunday, January 7, with the reception of TC Lavaur 1 in Mazamet (09:00-13:00).

APM 1 women’s team (Division 1) lost 5-1 to AS Pierre Fabre 1 in Mazamet. The next day, Sunday, January 7, with the TC Lavaur 1 cruise.

As for the other two men’s teams, the APM 2 team, which plays in the same league 1 as the APM 1 team, suffered a heavy defeat against TC Albi 1 with a score of 6-0. They had one win and two defeats before the final day on Sunday. It’s Jan. 7 and USSP Albi 1’s reception at Mazamet (9 a.m.-1 p.m.) occupies the penultimate spot in its group. The APM 4 team won with a score of 5-1 against TC Labruguière 1 in Mazamet. The last match took place on Sunday, January 7, with the TC Séquestre 2 trip.
