TFC president Damien Commoli has been suspended for three matches by the Federal Referee Commission for comments deemed inappropriate.
This Wednesday evening the disciplinary committee met to impose sanctions on many teams, fans and even managers. It was alleged that Toulouse club president Damien Comolli made inappropriate statements towards the referee committee in the Nice-TFC match on November 26, which ended with Aiglons scoring 1-0.
The 51-year-old man had previously criticized the referees for disallowing Frank Magri’s goal for a foul on Vincent Sierro. For him, this decision seems unfair. The disciplinary committee, which met this evening, decided to give him a definitive ban for three matches.
The native of Béziers will miss the next trip to Saint-Symphorien, home of FC Metz, the Coupe de France match against Rouen and the reception of Lens at the Toulouse Stadium. A defeat on match day which could still keep busy in the transfer window for reinforcement purposes team’s offensive level.
